Actually a cheap piece of glass and a photo taken with a blue gel over a flagged speed light. This photo was used for a cover image as part of a short story series by Bruce Kokko.
Taken with my first good digital camera a Canon EOS Rebel XSi and used the nifty fifty EF 50mm f/1.8 lens.
